Gavin Griffin, born August 28, 1981, is a professional player from Darien, Illinois. Gavin attended Texas Christian University, and launched his poker career playing online and in-home games with his university classmates.
Griffin’s first breakthrough came during a 2004 Las Vegas trip. Gavin’s first WSOP cash was also his first bracelet, winning the $3000 Pot Limit Hold’em event. In clinching this title, Griffin would become the youngest WSOP bracelet holder. In 2007 Gavin took the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo, receiving a staggering $2.4 million for first and a top spot in the EPT top all-time winners list. Aside from his bracelet, Griffin has 10 WSOP cashes, a WPT title, and 2 WPT cashes.
According to Hendon Mob, Griffin’s total live winnings exceed $4.6 million.

Lon McEachern is a sports broadcaster best known for his poker commentary during ESPN’s broadcasts of the WSOP. McEachern attended the University of California Santa Barbara, completing a degree in communications. McEachern joined ESPN’s poker commentary team in the late 1990s, and has held his current position alongside Norman Chad since 2003. Justin Smith, born January 8, 1988 is a professional poker player from Hartford, CT currently living in Orlando, FL. Smith began playing poker while wheelchair bound due to a motorcycle accident. He launched his online career with a meager $50 bankroll, a far cry from his currently stakes where he has been spotted playing as high as $2000/$4000 and $4000/$8000.
Due to his young age, Smith has been unable to compete in North American land-based events but has nonetheless managed to rack up $1.4 million in tournament earnings, including a 2nd place finish at the WPT Bellagio Cup VI.
