Live from the Two Plus Two Studios - The feature guest this week on Pokercast is WSOP bracelet winner and high stakes poker pro Phil Galfond. Phil Galfond, known by the screennames "OMGClayAiken" and "MrSweets28" or JMAN28 on the 2+2 Forums comes on the program to discuss his bracelet win, his very successful year in 2008 and playing high stakes cash games online. Nolan Dalla also chimes in on the program to announce the changes and additions to the recently released schedule for this years upcoming World Series of Poker. Nolan Dalla

Nolan Dalla is poker and gambling author from Dallas TX. A reported gambler “since childhood”, he worked his way through a political science degree at the University of Texas, followed by a Masters degree in Public Policy administration at University of Texas – Arlington before working on a US Senate Committee in Washington, DC.
Dalla is the media relations director of the World Series of Poker and a respected poker author. In addition to a long list of poker and gambling articles published in Gambling Times, Card Player, Poker Digest, Poker Pages, Poker Player, and The Intelligent Gambler, Dalla is the author of One of a Kind, Stu Ungar’s biography. Phil Galfond

Born in 1985, Phil 'OMGClayAiken' Galfond is a professional poker player from North Potomac, Maryland. Galfond attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison and currently resides in Vancouver, Canada. Phil began playing poker in 2003 focusing on sit-n-go tournaments for the first 2-2.5 years. He switched to No Limit cash games and eventually moved over to Pot Limit Omaha. You can now find him playing in the biggest PLO games available online and he has been featured on seasons 4 and 6 of GSN's High Stakes Poker.
Phil had two cashes in the 2006 World Series of Poker and followed that up with two more in 2007. At the 2008 WSOP, Galfond won his first bracelet in the $5,000 buy-in pot-limit Omaha with rebuys event for just shy of $818,000. Hendon Mob lists his live tournament earnings as approaching $1 million.
