Dusty Schmidt

Dusty Schmidt is a professional poker player, coach, and entrepreneur from Portland, OR. Before making his living playing poker, Schmidt was an up and coming golfer who broke two of Tiger Wood’s junior records and lead the money winner on the Golden States Tour. His career was cut short by a heart attack at age 23.

Online, Dusty is the epitome of “grinder” and known by the apt screen name “leatherass”. Schmidt has played over 7 million hands online and logged more than 10,000 hours in a 5-year span in which he has won over $3 million.

Dusty was formerly a coach at StoxPoker and currently coaches at DragTheBar.com. He is the author of Treat your Poker Like a Business, published in 2009. Learn more about Dusty Schmidt

Jared Tendler

Jared Tendler is a professional golf and poker coach who focuses primarily on the psychological aspects of both games. He has a Master’s degree in psychology and a golfing client list that includes an LPGA tour winner, PGA tour players, Nationwide tour players, and notable juniors.

Tendler became involved with poker when he met Dusty “Leatherass” Schmidt while golfing. Schmidt would later hire Tendler for his “mental coaching” abilities, exposing Tendler to a new client market in the world of poker.
