Craig Marquis, born March 14th, 1985, is a professional poker player originally from Arlington, TX. He learned the game from friends, including high stakes regular David Benefield.
In 2007, Craig cashed twice at the WSOP, a feat he eclipsed at the 2008 WSOP finishing 18th in the $1500 NLHE shoot out event and finishing 9th at the 2008 WSOP Main Event (the first ever “November Nine”). With two additional WSOP cashes in 2010, Marquis’s live tournament earnings approach $1 million.
