Live from the Bahamas - Mike and Adam provide a tournament update of Day1B of the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure. They discuss the chip leaders, big names that have busted out and some 2+2ers that had a successful first day. Steve Paul-Ambrose, winner of the 2006 PCA and more than $1.3 million dollars, stopped by prior to the start of day two. Steve talked about his successful day one and how he built his stack up to over 170,000 in chips to become one of the top five going into day two. Steve Paul-Ambrose is a professional poker player from Waterloo, Canada. Ambrose learned the game while attending the University of Waterloo where he studied business and science. He launched in his online career in 2003 and began to show a profit almost immediately as he sharpened his game.
In 2006, Steve would parlay a satellite entry into a $1.3 million pay at that year’s Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure. He has since gone on to claim $1.9 million in total live tournament earnings.
