Poker Cast 375 - VIP Club LIVE Toronto with Negreanu & many more!
Live from Daniel's Summer Party in Toronto - This week on the Pokercast: Pokerstars VIP Club threw a huge party in Toronto last weekend and were nice enough to bring us along, we podcasted live from the event and managed to grab a ton of great guests. To start, Adam talks about his golf trip shenanigans from last week. Terrence and Ross ate some strange cuisine in Toronto and Adam experienced Uber induced tilt. As we are starting the show the star of the party, Mr. Negreanu just drops right in for an impromptu interview about his main event run, the new Las Vegas NHL team and more. We take a short break and return with Joe Stapleton who is a little sidetracked by his Tinder date but obviously brings the funny. Jaime Staples stops by after Joe to talk about his experience playing on “Poker Night In America” in easily the biggest cash game he’s ever played. James Hartigan then drops by in between hosting the party to talk about the up coming EPT season, trying not to be ungrateful for the travelling involved in his job and how excited he is for movies coming out this year. Then George Lind drops by and astonishes Adam with how much weight he’s lost and how he did it. Dealing with border guards as a black friday refugee and grinding high volume with kids in the house (Production note: recording in the middle of a party is not ideal, but we had to do it to get the guests! Apologies for some hot mics and background noise). We then head to a quiet room to finish the show and answer your mail, give some forum shout outs and come up with a password and format to this week’s Pokerstars Invitational!
Music: Tender - Armour (2015), Ezra - Better (2015)
