Live from the Two Plus Two Studios - The feature guest this week on Pokercast is poker player, writer, and coach Tommy Angelo. He joined the guys from his home in Palo Alto, California to discuss several topics including picking up tells at the table, decision making, his poker coaching and "Tiltless" training. Jason Rosenkrantz also chimed in on the program to give his analysis on the play of one of our Road to Super Nova qualifiers. Tommy Angelo is a professional poker player, coach, and writer. Born in 1958, Angelo is originally from Columbus, Ohio. He is currently living Northern California. He attended Ohio State University and was a career rock and country musician before turning to professional poker in 1990. Tommy began poker coaching in 2003 and had coached such notable players as Jay Rosenkrantz, Phil Galfond, David Benefield, Jeff Williams, and Simon Munz.
Angelo authored the book “Elements of Poker” and produced a companion video series for Deuces Cracked entitled “The Eightfold Path to Poker Enlightenment.” Tommy's newest book is titled "Painless Poker", available now!

Jason (“Jay”) Rosenkrantz is a professional poker player and founder of the poker coaching website DeucesCracked.com. Jay began playing poker at age 12. During his college years at Boston University Rosenkrantz discovered online poker and reconnected with his childhood friend Chuck Danielsson who introduced him to 2+2. This started Jay on his road to crushing online cash games – going on to become the biggest winner in online cash games in 2007-2008.
Another of his passions, screen writing and production, came to the forefront for Jay in 2009 with the G4 series 2 Months 2 Million, which documented Rosenkrantz and three friends spending two months in Vegas during the 2009 WSOP. Jay also worked on another film project, From Busto to Robusto, a documentary series chronicling many of the success stories coming from the world of online poker.
