Lyle talks about several topics including the World Poker Tour moving to a new TV station, his WSOP play and PokerTek. Lyle Arnold Berman, born August 6, 1941, is a professional poker player and business executive from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Berman attended the University of Minnesota, graduating with a degree in business administration.
Berman’s business portfolio includes operating his family’s leather trade (“Berman Buckskin”) and Wilsons Leather, before moving on to become the CEO of the Rainforest Café restaurant/store chain. Berman has also held executive roles in various gaming companies, co-founding Grand Casinos Incorporated that later became Lakes Entertainment with Berman acting as CEO. Berman also holds board position with both the World Poker Tour and Pokertek, the developers of the PokerPro electronic poker tables.
Berman’s poker career highlights include 3 WSOP bracelets, 16 WSOP cashes and finished 5th in the 1989 WSOP Main Event. On the WPT, Berman holds 3 cashes and one final table. Berman was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2002.
Berman co-authored his autobiography “I'm All In: Lyle Berman and the Birth of the World Poker Tour” which chronicles his life, business endeavors and his experience in realizing the World Poker Tour.

David Peat, known in most circles as “Viffer” is a high stakes cash game specialist from Las Vegas, NV. David is found throughout Vegas (and the world) playing stakes as high as $300/$600. That is, when he’s not too busy with his an often documented and demanding party schedule.
Peat has appeared on Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker. Though primarily a cash game player, David has earned over $277,000 from live tournaments, including a second place finish at Five Star World Poker Classic in 2007. Learn more about David Peat
