Thor joins the Mike and Adam for an emotional, uplifiting and entertaining look back at his storied poker career and his recent 2 year battle with terminal cancer. Among the stories are tales involving poker hall-of-famers Eric Drache and Stu Ungar and infamous gambler Archie Karas. Blair Hinkle submits a WSOP poker house storytime and the mad genius returns for a new season of The Sklansky Minute. Thor Hansen is a professional poker player from Oslo, Norway. He is known as the godfather of poker in Northern Europe, as he is responsible for bringing the game to Scandanavia and teaching many players the game. Thor has been on the ballot for the Poker Hall of Fame on multiple occasions but has yet to be voted it. He has two bracelets and 46 cashes in the World Series of Poker and has accumulated almost $3 million in lifetime tournament cashes. In 2012, Thor regularly played with many of the legends of the game including Doyle Brunson, Chip Reese and Stu Ungar. Thor was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2012. Learn more about Thor Hansen
