Live from the Two Plus Two Studios - This week on the Two Plus Two PokerCast Mike and Adam provide an in-depth Black Friday Fallout Special focusing on the indictments of several top level executives in the banking and online poker industry by the Department of Justice last Friday. Former attorney turned professional poker player Todd Terry gets things started giving his take on what has transpired thus far and breaks down some of the charges made in the indictment. Dan Michalski of Pokerati.com chimes in next providing a detailed report on the series of events that followed after the initial indictments and tries to answer some questions about the possible implications. The guys then connect with both poker blogger Bill Rini and Two Plus Two's Mason Malmuth about the fallout from this monumental legal action. I. Todd Terry is a former Manhattan attorney who has been playing poker professionally for the past few years and has already accumulated more than $1 million in live tournament winnings. Mason Malmuth received his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 1973 from Virginia Tech and completed a master’s from the same program in 1975. While working for the United States Census Bureau in 1979, Mason stopped overnight in Las Vegas while driving to his new assignment in California. He was immediately fascinated by the games and gambling immediately became his major interest. After arriving in California he discovered that poker was legal and began playing in some of the public card rooms as well as taking periodic trips to Las Vegas where he would play both poker and blackjack. In 1981 he relocated to Los Angeles for The Northrop Corporation where he was employed as a mathematician, at which time he pursued his interest in poker in the public card rooms in Gardena, Bell Gardens, and Commerce.
