Dan Harrington

Dan Harrington is a professional poker from Cambridge, MA currently living in Santa Monica, CA. Aside from poker, Harrington also owns and operates “Anchor Loans”, an investment firm.
Born December 6, 1945, Harrington credits much of his early poker experience as having been gained at the (now legendary) Mayfair Club in NY in the mid-1980s where he played with poker notables such as Howard Lederer, Steve Zolotow and Erik Siedel.
In 1995, Harrington won the WSOP Main Event and has made three other main event final tables in 1987, 2003 and 2004. His back-to-back main event final tables in 2003 and 2004 has been called the “greatest accomplishment in WSOP history.” Harrington has 2 WSOP bracelets, 10 WSOP cashes, 1 WPT title and 8 WPT cashes. According to Hendon Mob, Harrington’s living tournament earnings exceed $6.6 million.
Harrington has authored six books with 2+2, three volumes of the popular Harrington on Hold’em tournament series, and more recently three volumes of Harrington on Cash Games, including his latest work Harrington on Online Cash Games. Learn more about Dan Harrington
