Known online as "Green Plastic", Taylor worked his way up from playing $5 sit-n-goes to playing $50-$100 no-limit hold 'em in less than two years. Taylor talks about how he worked his way up the poker ladder, co-founding CardRunners.com and answers several questions from Two Plus Two members. Taylor Caby is a professional poker player from Chicago, Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating with a degree in finance. Born in 1980, Caby began playing poker with his family at the age of 13 and discovered online poker during his freshman year at Illinois. He quickly parlayed his initial $35 deposit into six figures. His poker sense has attracted the attention of others in the business community. Impressed with his ability, a regular in the 100 NL online games offered Caby a summer apprenticeship with a prominent New York hedge fund.
Caby cofounded the video training site CardRunners.com. He continues in his role as a video instructor and coach in addition to overseeing the company. In 2008 CardRunners partnered with Full Tilt Poker, which saw Caby and other members of “Team Cardrunners” become Full Tilt Poker “Red Pros.”
Taylor considers himself an expert in No Limit Hold’em cash games and is particularly skilled in heads up play. Recently Caby has expanded his game to live tournament play.
